I just got a call from a woman who lives about an hour away. She found my wallet on her front lawn this morning! She said it looks like everything is there...including my driver's license I just paid $30 to replace, but oh well.
I'll be happy to have it back in my hot little hands knowing that my information isn't floating out there somewhere.
So the only damage done was the $109 in cash, plus the $30 for my license. Everything else was just an irritating hassle, but luckily nobody was hurt.
Phew.

that is great news. When my son was tiny, I left my wallet on the roof of my car and drove off. Someone must have found it, taken the money and threw it somewhere.
It was about 3 years later that someone called me and told me that they found it. The wallet was basically ripped to pieces and smelled like gasoline. But, it still had my original u/s pic in it and a bunch of other stuff. I was so happy to see it again.
I am glad that you got it back, but it still sucks because you are out that money and you had to go through all the hassels of getting everything cancelled and replaced
